It’s always fun to step up the difficulty on something you are used to. Like turning up the difficulty in a video game you have already played or adding some extra reps to a work out. Pushing yourself to do better, work harder and push it to the max can have some great results. Sometimes though taking that extra step can also be a step in the wrong direction. I’ve enjoyed learning more and more about some of the toys I’ve been reviewing. Previously my only experience with cock rings were those of a much more stretchy and soft nature for, y’know, beginners. The thought of being stuck with a hard cock ring on a throbbingly painful erection is enough to make one think twice about taking the step up to a solid or even semi-solid cock ring.
I really enjoyed learning about prostate and perineum massage when using the Euphoria Enhanced Prostate Massager. So naturally, when I first saw the Tantus C-Sling there were some good possibilities. I’ve enjoyed the sensation of using a cock ring, be it solo or with a partner, and when combined with some perineum massage it seemed like a very good thing. I’m not going to lie when I first opened the package and found out it was a solid style cock ring I was a little worried.
Aside from realizing the fact that it was a hard cock ring the next thing I noticed was the quality of the product. The Tantus C-Sling is made from 100% Phthalate- free silicone, so it’s hypoallergenic, hygienic and non-toxic. This means not only does it have a great feel but it’s also super easy to clean (and boilable!). It also seemed like a pretty good size, even when having very little stretch to it. The shape of it is really nice and seemed like it would fit snuggly and the tear drop end had potential.
Putting it on was a little bit harder then the 3-step instructions on the insert, but it took maybe 1 minute max to figure out the logistics of it. A little bit of lube then testicle number one followed by testicle number two, then the flaccid shaft and it was on. Honestly though, I was let down by it. After some solo play and having a nice time with my girl, it really didn’t do much to enhance any of the experience. The fact that Tantus claims that it “gently massages the perineum” was ( I hate to say it) an understatement. The whole idea of a cock ring that does more is great, it’s just a shame this product has little to no bonus. As a cock ring it’s great, it fits fine,
provides a harder erection like a good cock ring should, and the tear drop felt good but there was no “gentle massaging” going on. The silicone is top notch and overall it’s a superior quality product but it just falls short of what it claims to do.
I really enjoyed trying a new product, especially one that took me out of my comfort zone. The Tantus C-Sling is without a doubt a high quality product, made of great material and has a decent design. For $40 I would recommend thinking twice before given this product a go. It’s a step up to an intermediate cock ring, but it falls short of what it claims to be.
